चुनाव आयोग ने राष्ट्रीय मतदाता दिवस को संचार, इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स एवं सूचना प्रोद्योगिकी मंत्री रवि शंकर प्रसाद जी ने मतदाता पहचान पत्र, अब आपका वोटर आईडी कार्ड डिजिटल हो जायेगा इसकी सूचना देश को संबोधित करते हुए दी. इसीलिए चुनाव आयोग द्वारा e-epic एप्प भी शुरू की जाएगी.

अब आधार कार्ड की तरह आपका वोटर कार्ड भी डिजिटल होगा और ऑनलाइन गेनेराते किया जा सकेगा. एप्प में डिजिटल लाकर जैसी सुविधाएँ होंगी और प्रिंट भी किया जा सकेगा. ई-एपिक मतदाता फोटो पहचान पत्र का डिजिटल वर्जन है.

चुनाव आयोग द्वारा वोटर आईडी के इलेक्ट्रॉनिक संस्करण यानी इलेक्ट्रॉनिक इलेक्टोरल फोटो पहचान पत्र (EPIC) शुरू किया गया है. अब किसी भी व्यक्ति को अपने वोटर कार्ड की हार्ड कॉपी रखने की जरूरत नहीं. अब आप अपने मोबाइल में पीडीऍफ़ फॉर्मेट में अपना वोटर कार्ड सेव कर सकते हैं. इस सुविधा के तहत अब किसी भी नागरिक को अपना मतदाता कार्ड साथ रखने की जरूरत नहीं. कार्ड की सॉफ्ट कॉपी अपने मोबाइल या कंप्यूटर से डाउनलोड कर सकते हैं. डिजिटल वोटर आईडी कार्ड निर्वाचन फोटो पहचान पत्र का ही डिजिटल संस्करण है.

You can download e-EPIC from Voter Portal or NVSP or Voter Helpline mobile app

Who are eligible for e-EPIC? All general voters can have a valid EPIC number, New registered electors, whose mobile number provided while applying is unique will get an SMS may download the mobile app. Other voters may download e-epic from 1st Feb 2021.

• People can search their name in the electoral roll from the official website and can note down their epic number.
• Steps to Download e-epic number – You can download e-epic from the official portal.

• Register or Login on the Voter portal
• From the menu bar click on link Download e-epic
• After that enter EPIC number or form 6 reference number
• Then Verify with OTP sent on the registered mobile number (only if your phone number registered with enrollment).
• Dear people, if your mobile number not registered, click on e-KYC to complete your KYC (Know Your Customer)
• Pass the face liveness verification and update the mobile number by complete KYC. Then download e-EPIC.

EPIC Voter Card Download 

This service was started by the Election Commission of India. According to the commission electronic electoral photo identity card is a digital version of a Voter ID Card, you can save the digital Voter ID in a digital locker. This service started on National Voters’ Day. People can save this document in PDF (Portable Document Format) format. No need to keep a hard copy of your Voter Card.

इसकी शुरुवात २ चरणों में होगी

पहला चरण 25 जनवरी से 31 जनवरी के बीच होगा. इस चरण में नए वोटर्स जिन्होंने नए वोटर कार्ड के लिए आवेदन किया है और जिनके मोबाइल नंबर चुनाव आयोग की आधिकारिक वेबसाइट पर रजिस्टर्ड हैं वही डिजिटल वोटर आई डी डाउनलोड कर पाएंगे.

दुसरे चरण की शुरुवात 1 फ़रवरी से होगी. जिसमे सभी मतदाता डिजिटल वोटर आईडी डाउनलोड कर पाएंगे. इसके लिए मोबाइल नंबर लिंक होना आवश्यक है. आप आधिकारिक वेबसाइट पर मोबाइल नंबर अपडेट या eKYC कर सकते हैं.

डिजिटल वोटर कार्ड्स की सुरक्षा के लिए सुरक्षित QR कोड भी रखा गया है. ताकि इसका डुप्लीकेट न हो सके.
