Minority communities – Muslim, Sikh, Christian, Buddhist, Zoroastrian (Parsi), Jain notified as minority communities under Section 2 (c) of National Commission for Minorities Act 1992.
MOMA Scholarship Online Apply 2023
MOMA Scholarships – Post-matric scholarship, Pre-matric scholarship, merit cum means scholarship (for professional and technical courses). Eligible students can get up to ₹ 20000 per year under this national minority scholarship.
The prime objective of this scheme to encourage parents from minority communities to send their school-going kids to school. Also, lighten their financial burden of school education and make all effort to support all kids to complete their school education. Empowerment through education and upliftment of socio-economic conditions of the minority communities.
MOMA Pre Matric Scholarship awarded for studies in India in Govt or Private school from Class 1 to Class 10. Eligibility for this scheme – Scholarship will be awarded to students who have secured not less than 50% marks in the previous examinations. The annual family income of their parents/guardians does not exceed ₹ 1 lakh. In this scheme, 30% scholarship embarked for girls students of each community.

MOMA Merit cum Means Based Scholarship – Scholarship to be awarded for studies in India in Govt or Private institution selected and notified in a transparent manner by State Govt/UT administration concerned. It covers technical and professional courses at UG and PG levels.
Eligibility – Min 50% marks or equivalent grades in the last examination. Annual family income, not more than ₹ 2.50 lakh.
