The scheme has been launched by the government of Andhra Pradesh. The scheme was launched by the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

The main aim of this scheme is to fulfill the dreams of middle-class families of having their own home. Under this scheme, middle class families will be given plot on no profit and no loss. According to the reports this scheme will help more than 30 lakhs families around the state of Andhra Pradesh. According to this scheme, these plots will be given to families in every constituency of Andhra Pradesh.

YSR Smart Town Scheme 2023

The scheme was launched by the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh on 11th January 2021. Till then all the citizens of Andhra Pradesh have been waiting for the registration to be started. The date of start of registration have not been announced yet but according to the report it will be announced soon. In this scheme 10 percent of plots will be reserved for government employees with a discount of around 20 percent.

YSR Smart Town Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility Criteria to Apply for the Jagananna Smart Town Scheme:

• Any applicant must be citizen of Andhra Pradesh State.
• The family income of the applicant must not exceed 18 lakhs.
• One family can apply for only one plot.
• The minimum age to apply for the plot is 18 years old.

Jagananna Smart town Scheme Benefits

• This Scheme will provide Plots to middle class families of Andhra Pradesh.
• The Plots will be from 150 Sq. Yards to 240 Square Yards.
• Schools, Hospitals, Transport facilities, Daily need facilities will be available within the 3-kilometer radius of the township.
• Underground Drainage
• 60 feet and 40 feet wide roads in township.
• Footpaths and open spaces.
• Water Supply
• Street Lights etc.

There will be 3 different size plots available in the township. Here is the 3 type of plots that are available:

• MIG 1 – 150 Sq. Yards (33’ * 41’)
• MIG 2 – 200 Sq. Yards (36’ * 50’)
• MIG 3 – 240 Sq. Yards (36’ * 60’)
